March 4, 2007 Another total website overhaul for leonardillustration.com. I hope you like the new look!

November 27-30, 2006 My first business trip - I went to Redondo Beach, CA for work. I was there working on/running an interactive presentation for a client, but I also got to observe as the National Electric Committee argued over electrical codes, and I learned more than I ever wanted to know about PVC conduit (go ahead, quiz me)!

November 26, 2006 I went home to Atlanta to see my family for Thanksgiving, and they took me to the Georgia Aquarium - it was AMAZING! Click here to see some of my pictures and sketches from the visit.

November 1, 2006 A date has been set for my world guitar debut - mark your calendars for December 18th, when I am scheduled to play during a Christmas concert at the Maryland School for the Blind! Some background info: I do a lot of graphic design work for a music outreach organization in Baltimore called the Creative Access (link). My roommate, who is also involved in the organization, has been teaching me guitar for a while now, and she challenged me to do this in the hopes that the looming deadline and prospect of embarrassment in front of a large crowd would force me to practice regularly. I have to say, it is working - I've got Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer down. Frosty the Snowman is proving to be more of a challenge though... UPDATE - On the day of my scheduled performance, the Maryland School for the Blind closed due to a campus-wide flu outbreak, and they cancelled the concert. But I'm ready for next year!

May, 2006 My entire office went to the MVLS (Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Society) annual reception. It was held at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, and we got to see the new Australia exhibit, which was pretty cool for an aquarium lover like myself.

December 1, 2005 Working 9 to 5 - I'm now a full-timer at Executive Exhibits.

November 21, 2005 www.ashandrowan.com website launched, in incomplete form. If you're in Baltimore and like Irish music, I highly recommend you check out one of their shows! I'm currently designing the cover for their upcoming CD, tentatively titled Banish Misfortune.

October, 2005 I started working as a part time medical illustrator at Executive Exhibits in Towson, MD
